    Shuang Feng

    Shuang Feng is a second-level professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University, a Bagui Scholar, a “Hundred Talents Program” Scholar (Class A, Sensor Field) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and a Leading Talent (Class II, Robotics Field) of Anhui Province. He previously served as the Director of the Robot Sensors and Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at the Institute of Intelligent Machines, CAS in Hefei, Dean of School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, and Director of Guangxi Key Laboratory of Intelligent Control and Maintenance of Power Equipment. He has held professorial and doctoral supervisory positions at University of Science and Technology of China, University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Guangxi University. Currently, he is a board member of the Chinese Association of Automation, President of the Guangxi Association of Automation, a board member of the Sensor Branch of the China Instrument and Control Society, and a member of the Intelligent Robot Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence. Admitted to the School of the Gifted Young at University of Science and Technology of China in 1991, he graduated in 2000 with a Ph.D. in Science under the supervision of Academician Qingshi Zhu. He pursued further studies in the United States starting in 2001 and served as a Postdoctoral Associate and Research Staff at Princeton University. In 2009, he was appointed as a “Hundred Talents Program” Scholar by CAS. From 2012, he served as the Director of the Robot Sensors Laboratory, and in 2018, he joined Guangxi University as the Dean of School of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include power operation robots, quantum control, multidimensional force sensors, and intelligent inspection robots. He has published over 60 papers, including more than 30 SCI-indexed papers. Throughout his career, he has been supported by various talent programs and key projects such as the “Hundred Talents Program” of CAS, the Anhui Province Leading Talent Program, the Key International Cooperation Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Guangxi Bagui Scholar Program. He has achieved key technological breakthroughs in areas such as aerospace multidimensional force sensors, inspection robots, and quantum pathway control. Additionally, he has introduced several high-level overseas talents to CAS and Guangxi University, as well as Guangxi Power Grid. He has mentored numerous students who have gone on to start businesses in locations such as Nanning, Hefei, Wuhu, and Shaoyang, creating significant social and economic value.
