Hui-Hwang GOH received the B.Eng (Hons.) degree in Electrical Engineering, the M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia, in 1998, 2002, and 2007, respectively.
Dr. Goh is a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), U.K. He is also a fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) and the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), a Chartered Engineer under the Engineering Council United Kingdom (ECUK), and a Professional Engineer under the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM). His research interests include embedded power generation modeling and simulation, power quality studies, wavelet analysis, multi-criteria decision-making, renewable energies, and dynamic equivalent.
Currently, he is a professor, head of Electrical Engineering department, and Junwu Scholar at the School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University. As the first batch of outstanding young scientists to come to Guangxi in 2019, he has been committed to supporting China's Belt and Road Initiative and RECP strategy, and is committed to the establishment of the China-ASEAN Energy Center. Guangxi University participates in various ASEAN international conferences and contacts with ASEAN countries.
