Professor Hui Liu received his M.S. degree in 2004 and Ph.D. degree in 2007 from the College of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University, China, both in Electrical Engineering. He worked in Tsinghua University as a postdoctoral fellow from 2011 to 2013 and in Jiangsu University as a faculty member from 2007 to 2016. He visited the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory, Argonne, IL, USA, from 2014 to 2015. He joined the School of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University in 2016, where he is a Professor and Deputy Dean. He is an Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid and the IEEE Power Engineering Letters. He is also an Associate Editor of the IET Smart Grid and the IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution. His research interests include power system optimization, power system stability and control, electric vehicles, integrated energy systems, demand response, etc.
